The Role

As Cash & Carry Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of a busy wholesale site, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience while maintaining high standards across sales, stock management, merchandising, and operations.

This is a highly varied role where you'll spend time engaging with customers, monitoring sales performance, managing stock levels, supporting your team, and ensuring the site operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, manage trade customer relationships, and drive sales growth.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, merchandising, and product availability.
• Manage the day-to-day operation and profitability of the cash & carry site, including sales reporting and cash handling.
• Lead, motivate, and support the team, ensuring high standards of performance and customer focus.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant working environment while collaborating with internal departments to achieve business objectives.

About You

• To succeed in this role, you'll likely have:
• Experience in retail, wholesale, horticultural, or customer-facing operations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence working with sales figures, stock data, and commercial reports
• Good IT skills, including experience with stock or point-of-sale systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on management style and willingness to support the wider team
