English Tutor - Warrington

Location: Warrington
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Duration: Ongoing

Prospero Teaching are seeking a confident English Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to a learner in Warrington.

We are looking for an educator who can make learning accessible and engaging while helping the learner strengthen their literacy skills, address gaps in knowledge and develop greater confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Provide individual English tuition
Plan lessons according to the learner's needs
Support reading, writing and wider literacy development
Adapt resources and teaching approaches
Establish a positive learning relationship
Encourage progress and independent learning
Provide feedback on development

Requirements
Experience teaching or tutoring English
Strong English subject knowledge
Experience working with children or young people
Previous 1:1 experience desirable
Patient, approachable and adaptable manner
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
