Salary: £14.25-£15.50

TeacherActive is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school for an Experienced School Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with previous school administration experience who can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of school office procedures and be confident using SIMS or Arbor management information systems, alongside attendance and parent payment platforms.

As a Primary School Administrator, you will:

• Manage the busy school reception and provide a professional first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain accurate pupil records using SIMS or Arbor.
• Monitor and record daily attendance, following up on absences in line with school procedures.
• Process admissions, leavers, and pupil data accurately.
• Manage communication with parents via school systems and parent messaging apps.
• Use parent payment systems to administer trips, clubs, and school meal payments.
• Support the wider school team with general administrative duties.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Previous experience working in a primary school office.
• Proven experience using SIMS or Arbor.
• Experience managing school attendance records.
• Confidence using parent communication and payment systems.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a busy school team.
