Description

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
• Act as the main HR point of contact for apprentices and contractors, including support relating to IR35 requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records, HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support onboarding activities for new employees and contractors.
• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate learning, training and development programmes across the business.
• Ensure employee data and HR documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
• Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries and employee relations matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
• Provide general HR administration and support across the wider HR function

Profile

We are looking for an HR professional who can quickly integrate into a growing technical and engineering-focused environment.

You will ideally have:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 3 considered with relevant experience).
• Previous experience in a HR Generalist or HR Officer position.
• Experience within a similar-sized organisation, ideally a multinational business.
• Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, industrial, energy, utilities, automation or project-based environments would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing recruitment and supporting organisational growth.

Job Offer

• A salary of £40,000 to £44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in Runcorn.
• Excellent benefits package.
