Hygiene Team Leader (Nights)

£34,985 + bonus

Nights - 10pm to 6am

Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a Night Hygiene Team Leader to join a fast-paced production site within a well-established and growing business, supplying major UK retailers.

As Hygiene Team Leader your key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standards.
• Perform area checks at the start and end of each shift to ensure company standards are being met.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality procedures.
• Ensure all paperwork have been completed and meet expected standards.
• Work with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedules.
• Identify areas of improvement and work with the Hygiene Manager to implement.
• Ensure the team are using chemicals correctly & safely. Monitor stock levels, reporting to the manager to ensure timely re-stocking.
• Support the onboarding of new team members and drive team performance using positive coaching tools.
• Deputise for the Night Hygiene Manager in their absence.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising hygiene teams (stand in / deputising experience will be considered).
• Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
• Relevant qualifications food safety qualifications are desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
