You don’t need previous life insurance experience. This established protection brokerage is looking for proven salespeople who can build relationships, close business and put customers first with structured training to develop you into a Protection Adviser. Beyond personal protection, there’s a route into business protection, offering £40,000–£45,000 basic salaries and £100,000+ earning potential. Progression depends on performance, technical development and accreditation, but with more business protection enquiries than the team can currently handle, there’s a genuine opportunity to work towards.

• Starting salary of £30,000, plus commission, with £55,000–£65,000 total earnings once established.
• Ability to start with increased salary for those with Ro5 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Speak with customers who have actively enquired about life insurance and protection.
• Conduct detailed fact-finds to understand their circumstances, needs and priorities.
• Recommend suitable protection policies from a panel of insurers.
• Explain recommendations clearly and guide customers through their applications.
• Build and manage your pipeline, keeping customers informed throughout.
• Achieve sales and conversion targets while maintaining high compliance standards.
• Develop your technical knowledge through coaching, training and call feedback.

About You

• Around two years’ B2C sales experience, with a track record of closing business.
• Protection or insurance experience is welcome, but not essential.
• Confident building trust through detailed, consultative telephone conversations.
• Comfortable managing multiple customers and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambitious, accountable and open to coaching.
• Looking for a long-term career move, with clear reasons behind previous job changes.
