Warrington | UK wide | £45,000-£55,000 basic + up to £10,000 bonus + company car

Zachary Daniels is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for an international manufacturer of industrial equipment. With an established UK customer base and the backing of a wider engineering group, the business is looking for a hands on salesperson to develop existing relationships and win new business.

This Area Sales Manager opportunity would suit someone with industrial B2B sales experience who enjoys getting out to customers, understanding how their production processes work and helping them find the right technical solution.

You'll join a small, friendly UK team where relationships matter and your contribution will be visible.

The role

As Area Sales Manager, you'll manage customers across the UK, selling equipment, parts and upgrades in a range of environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
• Finding and developing new business across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
• Visiting customer sites to understand production requirements and discuss suitable equipment.
• Preparing and presenting quotations, negotiating terms and closing sales.
• Working with technical colleagues on applications, service requests and equipment modifications.
• Managing your pipeline, sales forecasts and customer records.
• Keeping up to date with competitors, market developments and new opportunities.

About you

To succeed as Area Sales Manager, you'll bring experience selling industrial machinery, engineering equipment or technical solutions to business customers.

We're looking for:

• A track record in industrial B2B sales, including account development and winning new customers.
• Strong technical understanding.
• The confidence to discuss machinery and production applications with engineering and operational teams.
• A consultative approach, strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage your own territory.
• A friendly, collaborative working style and a willingness to get involved in a small team.

The Area Sales Manager will need to live within a reasonable commute of Warrington / Runcorn. The role combines UK customer travel with time in the local office, keeping you connected to the team when you're not on the road.

There will also be occasional international travel and training with colleagues at the European headquarters.
