SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Northwich

Location: Northwich & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time | Long-term | Term-time only

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with ADHD and Autism within welcoming primary schools across Northwich and the surrounding area.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for pupils with ADHD and Autism
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and independence

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD
• Patient, calm and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child development
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
