CNC Press Brake Setter 

Location: Warrington

Pay: £18.75 per hour

Shift: Monday–Thursday, no weekends

Innova Search & Selection are recruiting an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter for a well-established manufacturing business based in Warrington.

This is a permanent night-shift opportunity offering a four-day working week, with no rotating shifts or weekend work.

The Role

Working within a busy sheet metal manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brake machinery, ensuring components are produced accurately and to the required specifications.

This is a hands-on setting position, so we are looking for someone who can confidently set up machinery independently, including manual tooling changes, without relying on another setter for support.

Working hours:

• Monday – Wednesday: 4:00pm – 2:30am
• Thursday: 4:00pm – 1:30am

Pay: £18.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC press brake machinery.
• Select, fit and change punches and dies manually.
• Carry out tooling changes and machine adjustments for different jobs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Programme or adjust CNC programmes where required.
• Check finished components to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Identify and resolve setting or production issues.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a CNC Press Brake Setter is essential.
• Confident carrying out manual tooling changes and full machine setups.
• Able to work independently without supervision.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CNC programming or programme adjustments is advantageous.
• Reliable, practical and quality-focused.
