Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a small and welcoming infant school in the Sale area of Trafford, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive and friendly administrator who has previous experience working within a school environment and is confident using SIMS.

Working as part of a small and supportive school team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing efficient and professional administration support to the school.
• Managing pupil records and updating information accurately using SIMS.
• Supporting with attendance administration and monitoring.
• Handling telephone calls, emails and general enquiries from parents, staff and visitors.
• Maintaining accurate school records and completing administrative tasks.
• Supporting the wider school team with general office duties.
• Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils.

The school is looking for someone who is immediately available or able to start ASAP and who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience working in a school administration role
• Hands-on experience using SIMS
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment.
